Celebrating 175 Years of Service to Christ and Community
Dinner for 8 - Friday, February 10
Join other Park Church members and friends for an exciting fellowship opportunity: Dinner for 8. Reservations will be made at various restaurants around Grand Rapids. Simply sign-up for your restaurant of choice. While at dinner, enjoy the food and fellowship. Participants WILL NOT return to the church for dessert.
River Rogues Jazz - Transfiguration Sunday - February 19
Once again, the River Rogues Jazz Band will help lead worship on Transfiguration Sunday, February 19. Join us for this festive service!
Mission Team Providing a Second Winter Day Shelter
After securing important information about the need for an additional winter day shelter on Saturday throughout the winter months, the Mission Ministry Team has added a second Winter Day Shelter to Park's outreach ministry program. The shelter is open now until the end of February 2012. Two Mission Team members have volunteered to oversee this ministry. Please contact the church office if you are able to volunteer during our Saturday shelters.
Art at Park
Currently on display in our Gallery Hallway is the photography of Sara Snyder. Sara's photography has been exhibited at New York's SoHo Photo Gallery, the TCC Gallery in Longview, Texas, and the Lightbox Photographic Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. She also has been recognized nationally by the New York Times Photography Bog, Light Leaks Magazine, the premiere toy camera photography journal, Holga Blog, a leading online destination for plastic camera enthusiasts, and National Public Radio's annual online summer photography gallery. We'll be hosting a Meet and Greet with Sara after worship on January 22nd.
Music at Mid-Day Concert Series
Our Music at Mid-Day Series continues. As in the past, the soup and salad bar lunch opens at 11:15 a.m. and remains open until 1:30 p.m. The weekly concert begins at 12:15 p.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m. The soup and salad bar lunch costs $5.00 and the weekly concert is FREE! Child Care and our Ministry to Children
Child care is provided before, during, and after worship on Sunday. Also, child care is provided for special services and educational opportunities by calling the church office at least two days in advance. For a look at our ministry to children and youth, please click HERE.
Youth Groups
