Wedding Basics

• Our Sanctuary will hold 500 people with the balcony holding an additional 150.  Our Chapel will hold 80 people.
• Initial contact is made with the Church Office.
• If the requested wedding date is available, a $500 non-refundable deposit needs (from non-members) to be received by the church office before the wedding is "officially" booked.
• Once the wedding is officially booked you will receive a "Wedding Packet" containing additional information about weddings at Park along with a Pre-Marital Inventory and contact information for the Wedding Coordinator, Minister, and Organist.
• Face-to-face meetings are scheduled with the Wedding Coordinator, Minister, and Organist.
• Pre-Marital Counseling is not offered by the clergy of Park Church but referrals can be made for couples wishing to complete a series of pre-marital counseling sessions with a licensed professional.
• Non-Member weddings cost $2,000. The wedding fee covers the honorarium for the Wedding Coordinator, Minister and Organist as well as general rental fees for the use of the church building.  There are additional charges for Pew Candles and Altar Candelabra.
  
• In the event of a cancelled wedding, the deposit is non-refundable. 
• The deposit, in any event, is tax deductible because it is used for the mission outreach ministry of Park Church.  A letter indicating your "gift" to Park Church will be issued by our Business Office before your wedding. 
  
• The balance of all fees is due to the Wedding Coordinator the night of the rehearsal.
• The wedding party has approximately five (5) hours of building usage the day of the wedding (this includes time before, during and after the ceremony) so couples should plan their schedule accordingly.  Example:  If the wedding is at 3 p.m., the wedding party can arrive at the church at 12 noon for dressing, pictures, etc. with a balance of two hours for the ceremony and post-ceremony receiving line and pictures.  Additional time is charged at the rate of $100 per hour and must be paid in advance.
